We are looking for a Functional Business Analyst with exceptional interpersonal skills to join our team to work with one of our esteemed clients. The role is to work in a dynamic and innovative environment and engage and communicate with a variety of stakeholder groups across business and technology teams.
Your Responsibilities:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their reporting needs from a business perspective.
- Collate requirements from both internal and external customers to enhance client's existing suite of reports, providing a superior offering.
- Collaborate with users to identify areas for improvement in existing reports, encouraging them to share insights on necessary enhancements (e.g., additional fields, combining reports, historical trend analysis).
- Translate business requirements into user-friendly functional specifications.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure the implementation aligns with business goals.
- Design and deliver a new suite of reports and dashboards that provide valuable, easily interpretable insights.
- Conduct user training sessions to facilitate the seamless adoption of new reports and dashboards.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of reports, seeking continuous feedback for further enhancements.
Your Technical Skills and experience
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst, specifically in designing and implementing reports and dashboards.
- Business acumen with the ability to understand and interpret user requirements from a business perspective.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data and trends to derive meaningful insights.
- Clear understanding of the principles, practices, and methodologies of analysing, designing, planning and documenting 'As is' and 'To be' business processes
