The Role
If you're ready to contribute to a collaborative and innovative project team we’re looking for a D365 CSFunctional Consultant/Senior Business Analyst with a keen focus on digital projects to join our project team delivering a major government transformation program.
Good communication skills, strong technical solution understanding, and adaptability and flexibility in the role will set you up for success. We are working with large government clients across several initiatives, including Business Case Development, Project Planning and Delivery, MS Dynamics and a large ERP program (requirements gathering stage); your experience working in large ICT Programs across MS Dynamics, digital transformation and/or ERP implementation projects will see you well-positioned to succeed in this role.
You need to be able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, participate in workshops, facilitate functional analysis and design discussions, gather requirements, write well-structured requirements documentation, and write content for a robust business case.
To be successful, you will be required to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
- Have a minimum 5 years experience working in functional consulting and Senior Business analysis roles
- Previous large-scale digital transformation, MS Dynamics CS and Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI & Automate) and/or ERP implementation experience.
- Requirements Gathering, solution design & configuration, business process mapping, testing, training & support, implementation and deployment experience.
- Hands-on approach with excellent analytical, problem-solving, report writing, and presentation skills working with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Prepare and facilitate workshops with SMEs, technical teams and stakeholders, identify solution gaps, guide on best practices, solution application and data & reporting capabilities.
- Experienced in traditional BA responsibilities such as running requirements workshops, requirements management, writing user stories and test scripts, functional design specifications, testing, training guides, business case and reporting documentation and solution implementation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong stakeholder management and client engagement skills
- Attention to detail & a high level of accuracy
The following experience would be highly regarded but not essential:
- Experience leading design, configuration and testing of D365 CS and Power Platform solutions (PowerApps, Power BI & Automate)
- Defining and optimising organisational reporting capabilities including data structure definition and implementation
- Documentation and facilitation of training for key functionality and new enhancements
- Understand technical concepts and communicate them in a business-friendly manner
- Business case development
- Experience working with PRINCE2, PMBoK, PRINCE2-Agile and SCRUM
- Implementation of large Business, Transformation or IT projects involving business change or reform, in both the private and government sectors
