We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic ERP Functional Consultant who has a good understanding of common business processes & systems and who can effortlessly connect and build relationships with clients across all industries.

This is a challenging role that would ideally suit someone with a few years of accounting and/or business experience, looking for a fresh challenge and is willing to be trained in our methods.

This role offers flexibility in a hybrid working environment (Office and Work from home), with the occasional domestic travel.

  • Hybrid working environment (Office and Work from home) with the occasional domestic travel
  • Assisting with demonstrations for potential clients 
  • Assisting with costing of proposals 
  • Development of WBS / Project Tasks Lists / Estimated efforts & Timelines for proposals 
  • Preparation of BC tenancies, licenses/client user 
  • Preparation for client workshops 
  • Run configuration workshops with clients on various topics, functions and processes 
  • Training on various processes – navigating, posting, reporting, enquiries 
  • Technical training for client admins/owners 
  • Uploading of client data 
  • Modifying layouts of system generated documents e.g. Sales Orders, Pick Slips etc 
  • Working with Financials consultant re: finance postings from SC activities 
  • Implementation of system extensions/add-ons as required – e.g. WMS for scanning 
  • Responding to emails & support calls from existing clients 
  • Undertake continuous training & development of skills and product knowledge 
  • Provide in-house product training/support for fellow Metisc staff  
  • Ensuring all time is regularly logged and correct tracked against projects & support cases
  • Working collaboratively with fellow ERP & broader teams – supporting and assisting as required 
  • Reporting regularly with Project Manager on progress, risks, issues etc

And here’s what we require from you:

  • A solid understanding of accounting concepts & core financial processing 
  • A background and/or experience with financial and/or management reporting 
  • Experience working with or in different industries (manufacturing experience/knowledge will be highly regarded) 
  • Solid experience with one or more financial or ERP systems (previous Dynamics 365 BC / NAV / Wiise experience will be highly regarded) 
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Have an organised and methodical approach to your work tasks 
  • Natural problem-solving skills 
  • High level/Advanced Excel skills 
  • An understanding of relational databases 
  • Previous report writing experience 
  • Previous experience working with mid-level ERP systems - such as Pronto, NetSuite, SAP1, MYOB EXO etc (Experience with implementation of same - highly desirable)
  • Experienced in working with many small jobs as well as the less frequent large jobs
