The role
You'll be responsible for leading the events team to successfully execute the following weekly, monthly and annual events.
- Weekly weddings, birthdays and family events of 300 - 500 people for members
- Calendar events like ANZAC day and Melbourne cup
- Onsite major sporting events up to 1600 people
- Outdoor sports and entertainments
- Indoor and outdoor functions
Support Staff
- Food and Beverage Supervisors
- Events team
- External theming and styling team
Required skills
- Previous experience in a Functions Manager role
- Event planning
- F&B Experience
- Hands on style of leadership
- Premium Hotel experience in events and banqueting
- Sports club experience desirable
- VIP, members club or premium customer service experience
