About this role

Join our dynamic team in a newly created, full-time permanent position. Collaborate with key stakeholders while reporting directly to the Operations Manager, focusing on the operational needs of a boutique funds manager. As the successful candidate, you will take primary responsibility for the execution of daily fund administration activities.

The Primary responsibility of the Fund Administrator is

  • Execute daily fund administration tasks, including but not limited to, processing application and redemption requests, transaction settlements, reconciliations, distributions and liaising with custodians.
  • Manage the investor on-boarding KYC process. 
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for fund-related inquiries from clients, providing excellent customer service.
  • Address client requests, resolve issues, and communicate updates effectively.
  • Work closely with investment managers and custodians to facilitate smooth fund operations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
  • Support the Fund Manager in overseeing the operational aspects of the commercial lending function.

Our ideal candidate

There is no specific minimum qualification for this role. We are more interested in the right person rather than the right background. However, your experience and qualities are likely to include some or all of the following:

  • Experience in financial services, accounting, law, investment management or similarly regulated industry.
  • RG146 qualifications (or willing to obtain)
  • At least 2+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
  • Australian working rights
  • High level English language written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn and understand new concepts quickly.
  • Intermediate-advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
