- Drive performance of the funding recipients through engagement with key stakeholders, including government, community organisations and peak bodies.
- Manage risks to ensure improved health and wellbeing for vulnerable and ageing Australians.
- Gather and share location based intelligence to provide back to policy owners to enable evidence-based program design and management.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of grants activities;
- Regularly engaging with grant recipients;
- Reviewing and assessing performance reports
- Monitoring financial performance including acquittals and unexpended funds;
- Ensuring grant recipients are paid on time;
- Monitoring, managing and escalating emerging risks
Candidates must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Funding Managers are required to prepare high quality accurate correspondence, submissions and briefings. Candidates must demonstrate their ability to prepare a variety of correspondence and reports with moderate complexity, and produce high-quality work within timeframes.
Preference with be given to candidates with an active Baseline security clearance.
