About the team:
The Fundraising & Engagement Coordinator (Redcliffe) is one of two roles within the RBWH Foundation’s philanthropy and development function dedicated to the Raise it for Redcliffe initiative, helping drive local engagement and community support. We are a hybrid working team, splitting our time between home and the RBWH Foundation offices in Redcliffe and Herston. Supported by the broader RBWH Foundation team, the Redcliffe team has a clear remit to build and nurture a pipeline of new donors, fundraisers and supporters to the organisation with lots of diversity in tasks on a day-to-day basis.
About the role:
As the Fundraising and Engagement Coordinator (Redcliffe) at RBWH Foundation, you'll collaboratively deliver our Raise it for Redcliffe initiative, playing a crucial role in driving engagement and garnering community support. Your primary focus will be on bolstering the efforts of the Fundraising Manager (Redcliffe) and contributing to fundraising endeavours aimed at benefiting Redcliffe Hospital, while also elevating the profile and brand awareness of RBWH Foundation within Redcliffe Hospital and the wider community.
Your primary responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
• Supporting the Fundraising Manager in driving engagement and community support.
• Aid in the development and execution of fundraising activities and campaigns, encompassing donor acquisition and stewardship endeavours.
• Coordinate logistical aspects for events, meetings, and other community engagement undertakings.
• Manage administrative tasks linked to fundraising and community engagement initiatives, including data entry, donor record upkeep, and report preparation.
• Liaising with existing and prospective supporters to forge new and maintain existing relationships.
• Providing marketing support such as crafting invitations, coordinating promotional materials, and liaising with the RBWH Foundation marketing team or outsourced marketing agencies.
• Drive continuous improvement in fundraising and community engagement processes and initiatives.
About you:
This role calls for a mature, detail-oriented, customer-focused individual with exceptional communication skills, dedicated to delivering outstanding support to donors and team members. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in augmenting funding and facilitating extraordinary opportunities for impact at Redcliffe Hospital.
To be considered you will have:
• 2-3 years’ generalist experience in fundraising, community engagement, events, donor support, customer service, marketing, project management or administrative roles, preferably within the nonprofit environment.
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships and adopt a collaborative mindset.
• Proficient communication skills across verbal and written channels.
• Exemplary organisational capabilities to manage multiple concurrent tasks, projects and priorities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude with adaptability and resilience for changing environments and circumstances.
