  • Work with the Data Team to ensure the strategy and plans across the team are based on insight and evidence, with clear deliverables and KPIs, to deliver the best outcomes for GDV, including driving sustainable income and growing the supporter database.
  • Provide accurate and timely analysis of the overall individual giving and community engagement programs to aid single and regular giving acquisition, retention and delinquency tactics and to maximize revenue and donor lifetime value.
  • Identify new fundraising opportunities and innovative approaches to maximise net revenue.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of large-scale fundraising campaigns, including online and offline initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create compelling campaign materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individual donors, community and corporate partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Create personalised donor journeys to engage and retain donors, ensuring their long-term commitment.
  • Generate reports and utilise data analytics to assess overall fundraising performance including donor behaviour and campaign effectiveness, as well as identifying potential areas for improvement.
  • Work with the Events Team to plan and execute fundraising events, ranging from donor appreciation events to larger-scale donor and community engagement events.
  • Work closely with Client and Guide Dog Services Teams to identify and involve appropriate staff and clients in fundraising initiatives.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or professional certification in fundraising is a plus.
  • Extensive proven experience in large scale fundraising, specifically single and regular giving acquisition and retention, with a track record of successfully meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
  • Proven experience in designing and executing events at scale.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of fundraising software, donor databases, and familiarity with emerging fundraising trends.

Benefits that Guide Dogs offer:
