Henley Landscaping is a high-end residential landscaping company who are passionate about delivering a quality service to our clients. We are looking for a suitable new gardens maintenance staff member to join our ever expanding Henley landscaping Designs family.
The successful applicant will:
- Hold a minimum Certificate III in Horticulture.
- Have a strong knowledge and understanding of both native and exotic plant species.
- Have minimum 3 years experience in commercial/residential Garden Maintenance and care.
- Be able to take responsibility, show initiative and have a strong work ethic.
- Be able to work to a timeframe and be flexible with hours
- Have a license, reliable vehicle and white card.
- You need to be the type of person who can work autonomously, takes pride in their work, solve problems, be pro-active, honest, reliable and committed to the role.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills for liasing with clients on a day to day basis.
- Be experienced with the safe operation of maintenance equipment and materials including mowers, brush cutters, blowers, knapsacks, etc.
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of Garden Maintenance chemicals and fertilisers.

Daily tasks:
- Assessing maintenance tasks on each project.
- Setting out a maintenance roster including days and time allocations.
- Mowing, edging, hedging, weed removal and blowing down of areas.
- Application of herbicides and fertiliser as needed.
- Mulching of gardens.
- Identifying any issues with plants and applying treatments.
