Gardeners/Horticulturalists - North/West Melbourne

UDL Group PTY LTD is a National Commercial Landscape and Grounds Maintenance company, and currently have Victorian Offices located in Epping, Pakenham, Keysborough, and Torquay. We have an opportunity for an experienced Gardener / Horticulturists to join our maintenance team of 100+ employees and work on new high profile contracts all over Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.

We are looking for multiple new staff members (both qualified and unqualified) to work on high profile contracts in the South East Melbourne suburbs who have a background in horticulture or turf industries. If you have qualifications or have had some experience in this role - we want to hear from you!

As a valued Gardener / Horticulturalist team member you will be responsible for completing gardening and general mowing activities such as (but not limited to):

• hand mowing
• brush cutting
• weeding
• mulching
• spraying
• pruning
• planting
• watering

To be successful, applicants require a combination of the following:

· Certificate in Horticulture OR industry experience;

· Experience with Hand Mowers, Brush-cutters, Blowers, Hand Tools, and    Power Tools

· Current and valid Drivers Licence

· LR or MR Truck Licence (an advantage but not mandatory)

· Construction Induction Card (White Card/Red Card)

· Traffic Management Certificate (an advantage)

· First Aid Certificate (an advantage)

· Strong commitment to safe work practices;

· Reliable, punctual and hard working;

· Well presented with good communication skills
