The business is based in the Western Sydney area servicing all of Sydney specialising in commercial construction, commercial tenders, custom renovations, business fit outs and commercial make goods.
The role
We are looking for an general office administrator to join our team on a part time basis. The role will be Monday to Friday with flexible hours located in our North Penrith office. We are looking for someone who is ready to use their experience and assist in the daily operations of the business. We require someone who has a hands-on attitude and is ready to take charge to ensure the job gets done to the high standard and in a timely manner. Our ideal candidate has experience in administration and experience in the building industry will be highly beneficial. Job Responsibilities
- Providing general support to the project manager
- Managing and organizing project managers calendars, appointments, and meetings
- Handling phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication and directing calls to the appropriate person
- Managing the main email inbox and directing emails where required
- Weekly office supply and grocery order
- Updating projects on our portal
- Assisting the compliance and office manager with various overflow activities including WHS, subcontractor and employee onboarding.
- Ensuring the office is kept clean and tidy
- General adhoc duties
Our ideal candidate will process the following:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an office environment
- Experience within the construction industry is highly regarded
- Attention to detail and the ability to work within timelines to provide high quality standards.
- Have the ability to work in a team and independently!
- Strong organisational skills, be self-motivated and have excellent communication skills.
- Reliable.
- Drivers License is preferrable.
- Professional presentation when dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
