The Role:

Our client is an education centre for the Seafood & Fishing industries, providing  high quality maritime, seafood & fishing training in Adelaide.

You will be responsible for the preparation, production and general maintenance of equipment and specialist training spaces including training ships.

Please note: The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Working with Children check

Information:

• Monday to Friday (flexible with 4 or 5 days p/week)
• Hours: 8:30am to 4pm (Flexible)
• Potential for Permanency
• Above Award pay rate
• Full Training provided

Criteria:

• Experience using hand and power tools
• Previous experience within the building & construction and/or maintenance industry is highly desirable
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Physically fit 
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Demonstrate honesty, reliability and safe work practices
• Forklift License is highly desirable
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Duties:

• Assembly of equipment. 
• Set up & preparation of equipment for training activities
• General maintenance of training ship (vessel)
• Occasionally undertaking the role of a Deck Hand on a training ship (vessel)
• Receiving supplies & inventory control
• Pack up of equipment after training concludes
