We are seeking a General Insurance specialist to join our General Insurance team as a Case Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the General Insurance Technical Manager, the Case ManagerGeneral Insurance Claims, will be responsible for ensuring Quantumcorp continues to provide our General Insurance clients with the right information in the right timeframe, to enable our clients to make fast and sustainable claims decisions.
The Claims Manager General Insurance Claims will manage a portfolio of General Insurance claims, including but not limited to:
- Reviewing client instructions to understand their requirements and to determine the most suitable investigator based on skills, location and expertise
- Allocating investigators and preparing more detailed instructions to ensure efficient and quality outcomes for our clients
- Ensuring adherence to the General Insurance Code of Practice throughout the investigation process
- Liaising closely with our extensive network of investigators across Australia and providing advice and guidance to assist the progress and successful completion of cases
- Liaising closely with our insurance and legal clients to the ensure timey and comprehensive updates are provided whilst delivering the highest level of customer service at all times
- All aspects of quality control including adherence to guidelines, client KPI's & SLA's, legislation, the General Insurance Code of Practice, case instructions and objectives, and final reporting.
- Actively monitoring our case management system
- The ability to undertake General Insurance investigations and write high level professional reports as required

ABOUT YOU
- Highly organised natural problem solver with relevant general insurance experience and an ability to identify and assess investigations progress.
- Driven, motivated and able to progress investigations within designated timeframes and with minimal oversight.
- Well-developed written communication skills and proficiency in report writing and critical analysis.
- Strong communicator with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff.
- You are professional, confident and have a positive attitude
- You have strong computer skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to execute all work tasks with a strong focus on attention to detail
- Ability to plan, organise and manage investigations so as to ensure our business meets and exceeds client requirements and objectives.
You have General Insurance claims management experience and / or General Insurance investigation management experience
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
To be successful you must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the General Insurance environment, including the General Insurance Code of Practice, Insurance Contracts Act, the insurance claims process, and the insurer's requirements of their outsourced investigations.
