This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate who has managed a team before to play a pivotal role in a purpose-led business. We are actively seeking an energetic General Manager to lead the development and day-to-day execution of the organisational strategy over 20 hours per week.
You will report directly to the founder and will be responsible for leading a small team across key areas including brand, marketing, program delivery and business operations.
Duties
- Work with founder to oversee strategic direction and decision making
- Establish benchmarks and metrics for success across all facets of the business
- Set targets and clear reporting methodologies to monitor performance (team review and KPI management)
- Financial management of the budget and P&L
- Governance including legals, insurance and company policies and procedures
- Team leadership including identifying resourcing needs, recruiting, training, staff development and performance management
- Work with founder to devise overall product strategy
