About your new role:
Working as an integral member of the Senior Leadership Group, this position is responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the assigned six Residential Aged Care facilities across the Perth Metro and Regional area's. It has carriage and full responsibility for accreditation of the assigned Residential Aged Care facilities and is also responsible for implementing both the Business and Strategic Plans and designing new service models.
At the operational level, the position leads and manages the delivery and development of this service, ensuring appropriate care and governance are in place to meet the organisation’s objectives while meeting required standards and legislative and compliance obligations and ensuring financial viability of the service.
Duties:
Leading and supporting the assigned Residential Aged Care facilities to provide the highest possible quality of residential care and services.
Developing and engaging a motivated and high performing team; providing strong leadership, coaching and development opportunities to build a high performing values-based culture and ensure a talent pipeline.
Delivering optimal Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) and cash flow results and accountability within the team.
Ensuring compliance with Aged Care accreditation standards.
Supporting the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies that support optimal occupancy
Is a key voice in contributing to the design of service models and future builds
Works in partnership with the Clinical Services and Learning and Development teams to ensure team members are developed and supported to deliver outstanding customers and services to our customers.
Frequent travel throughout the state to visit Residential Aged Care facilities
Skills and Experience:
Post graduate management qualification or achievement towards such qualification
Proven extensive leadership and staff management experience - essential
Proven experience developing and engaging a motivated and high performing team - essential
Previous experience working in the Aged Care sector - desirable
Previous experience working for a Not-for-profit (NFP) organisation - desirable
Demonstrated ability to lead and build a high performing culture aligned to Baptistcare values
Ability to quickly obtain an understanding of regulatory requirements relating to the Aged Care service sector, including but not limited to the Aged Care Act, Quality of Care Principles and the Aged Care Quality Standards
Experience in delivering outcomes across a geographically spread business and in a matrix environment
Demonstrated commercial acumen, with entrepreneurial ability particular within a services environment to meet KPIs

Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
Ability to pass a National Police Check

Willingness to obtain or provide proof of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
