Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager who embraces a hands-on approach to lead our dynamic team at Kids Unlimited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing the daily operations of a small or medium-sized business, with a proven track record of growing a business and leading a team. This role requires a passion for education, exceptional people skills, and the ability to inspire both our team and the children we educate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop business strategy in collaboration with TeamKids senior management.
- Actively participate in financial management, working with the TeamKids finance team.
- Manage multiple reports and functional areas, including HR, CRM, customer service, and sales.
- Oversee new sales efforts, from generating leads to closing and onboarding new client schools.
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring repeat business and effective client management.
- Foster a positive culture through strong leadership and clear vision articulation.
- Keep senior management informed of any matters of risk relating to Kids Unlimited.
- Prioritise child safety as the most important aspect of work at Kids Unlimited.
- Contribute to marketing efforts in liaison with the TeamKids marketing team and external providers.
- Develop initiatives to ensure a high-quality, sustainable business.
- 10+ years of management experience with strong administrative skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Comfortable working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
- Strong communication skills.
- A sales and marketing background is an advantage.
