Form of workPacific People Solutions is very pleased to partner with the team at Watt Utilities to assist them in sourcing a General Manager for their Corporate Office based in Robina, on the Gold Coast.
We are seeking an experienced individual who is capable of transitioning this well-established and successful business, currently under the leadership of the owners, to this role, which will include full P&L responsibilities.
If successful, you will be responsible for overseeing and communicating the transition of the leadership of the Watt Utilities business whilst providing governance & management across their current operations.
The successful General Manager will contribute strategically and operationally to the financial growth & overall performance of the business.
To be successful you will be a strong and decisive leader with good organisational awareness with the capability of sustaining continued business growth.
This business-critical role reports directly to the Watt Utilities Advisory Board and will require flexibility with local travel.

- Experience working in the energy sector (mandatory)
- Significant experience in a hands-on leadership role with full P&L responsibilities
- Qualifications in Business Management (well regarded)
- Capable of building a supportive, collaborative and cohesive team environment
- Strategic and customer focussed with the ability to understand an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive on the freedom to challenge the management team.
- High level of critical thinking and change management experience.
- Solutions focussed with a good understanding of finance and HR issues.
- Motivated and self- regulated with a high level of energy to deal with a fast-paced organisation.
- Capable of driving morale and leading by example with strong presentation skills
- Strong personal values coupled with a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
