About the role
Our priority is to provide excellence in customer service by continually monitoring patient experience via surveys and other feedback. We use this feedback to provide better services and care, tailored to our patients' needs and expectations.
Lingard Private Hospital is seeking a team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff to work in our hospital. We are seeking experienced Environmental Services & Catering staff to work on a casual basis. Working as part of a busy team, our Hotel Services Department has a high level of cleaning services to patients and communal areas of our hospital.
You will also provide general support to the Catering Department, including the preparation and service of well-presented and nutritious meals; compliance with the individual dietary requirements of patients and instructions of the hospital's Dietician; and the delivery of best practice customer service. You will be required to always maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, and compliance with all relevant regulations and Healthe Care policies.
Essential Criteria:
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination status, in line with Public Health Order for all health care workers to be fully vaccinated by 30th November 2021
- Knowledge of chemicals and infection control
- Basic knowledge of HACCP
- An understanding of best practice food health and safety standards
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality improvement
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work as part of a 7 day roster
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in a cleaning role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of infection control principles
- Knowledge and understanding of chemical safety standards
- Previous experience in food preparation and catering in a healthcare setting
- Hotel or café experience
- Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a hospitality position
- Certificate 2 & 3 in Hospitality and/or Dietary Practice Certificate
