Our team is growing! Due to significant growth across our business, we have multiple positions available within our Digital Services team.
Senversa is currently seeking a Geospatial and Analytics Consultan t to be based in either Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth.
As part of the Digital Services group, you will drive the production of quality Geospatial and Analytics solutions. Our consultants in the Digital Services team perform a variety of digital services for clients including data: management, governance and strategy, analytics, transformation and visualisation. You will work on environmental projects across a broad range of government and private industry sectors.
At Senversa, our Digital Services team is complimented by our Contaminated Land, Engineering, and Environmental Management and Approvals Teams in delivering multi-disciplinary projects for our clients. You will enjoy being a key role within integrated multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, scientists and analysts to provide our clients with high value digital solutions.

Role & Responsibilities
- Produce (or oversee the development of) client deliverables across GIS, data management, analytics, figure production, web-map / portal development, and configuring data collection apps.
- Design, implement, document, and monitor systems used for data insights and managing data efficiencies such as data warehousing, data stores and BI systems.
- Support continuous improvement by assisting to automate internal processes to drive project efficiencies.
- Able to develop and discuss scope, budget, and resourcing estimates.
- Support business development activities.
- Contribute to initiatives more broadly in the technology and innovation space that drive innovative change to improve the uptake of digital solutions and efficiency within the company.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Experience producing high quality print and online/interactive outputs, and conducting analysis using ESRI / QGIS software is required.
- Experience in developing field data capture solutions.
- Experience in database management and Analytics (e.g. ESRI SDE, Postgres/PostGIS, MSSQL, and other file-based data storage solutions, etc.)
- Experience in web maps, web apps, dashboards, and/or Power BI.
- Effective written/verbal communication and organisation/analytical skills.
- Experience in Spatial Machine Learning solutions (e.g. feature extraction) would be beneficial.
- Experience using R and/or Python for spatial analysis and reporting would be beneficial.
- Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and works independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional teamwork and relationship building skills.
- Previous consulting experience ideal but not required.
