About the role
EIC Activities is now looking across Australia for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geotechnical team, and could be based in Brisbane. As part of the team you will provide a competitive advantage for profitable projects that generate value for clients, leverage the CIMIC Group’s collective experience, technical capabilities and leading technologies.
You will have the opportunity to work with and provide support to Senior and Principal Engineers within the geotechnical team to deliver assigned projects. You will work with stream leaders and Principals to provide geotechnical input, along with mentoring junior Engineers.
In this role you will:
- Comply with and ensure all team operations are compliant with the requirements of the CIMIC and EIC Activities Procurement Policy, DoA and RASCI Model
- Manage resource plans and resourcing budget to ensure cost – effective resourcing for EIC Activities operations and projects
- Completion of GTDSs and Case Studies and reports
- Collection and sharing of knowledge and technical solutions from bids and projects
- Be involved in collaboration and communication with EIC Activities and with CIMIC OpCo Business Streams / Units to maximise the value offering and learning of the individual within the market
About you
You will inspire your team to achieve, draw on their diverse skills and create environments where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another.
Ideally you will have the following:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil & Infrastructure Engineering
- Approximately 8 years experience in the engineering consulting industry
- Exposure to large multi-discipline engineering
- Experience working on major tenders and projects
- Experience in coordinating and delivering geotechnical aspects of major multidisciplinary projects
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders including other EIC portfolios and teams, and CIMIC OpCo clients
