AddressCore Consultants has a great opportunity for an experienced Geo-Technician or Undergraduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing Brisbane team, on a full-time or part-time basis.
We are a small growing consultancy with an exciting future and owners with decades of practical ‘hands on’ industry experience in Southeast Queensland and beyond. You will work alongside and be mentored by these owners.
The work is on a diverse range of projects including land development and infrastructure, industrial and warehouse developments, medium and high-rise buildings and transport projects across a wide range of geological conditions in both the planning/design and construction delivery phases - providing you many opportunities to learn and grow. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our environmental and geophysics teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Undertake or assist geotechnical, environmental or geophysical fieldwork
- Undertake or assist inspection of construction works and associated reporting
- Data entry (e.g. TabLogs, gINT)
- Maintenance and upkeep of work shed and equipment
- General field and office support
About you / Qualifications:
- Relevant experience and qualifications will be viewed favourably, but are not essential for the right candidate. Training will be provided
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work within small multi-disciplinary teams and a positive attitude to problem solving
- Driver’s licence
- Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident

While most of our work is in the greater Brisbane area, from time to time we have projects up and down the eastern seaboard and inland, providing scope for travel.
