Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Undertake geotechnical investigations, assessments and report writing
- Provide geotechnical advice to internal and external clients
- Liaise with clients, with regards to preparation of quotes and tenders
- Supervising, mentoring and peer reviewing the technical work of other team members
- Interact with and provide guidance within our NATA accredited materials testing laboratory (AN 544)
Key selection criteria:
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in Geotechnical Engineering/engineering geology
- Tertiary qualifications in civil/Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline
- Familiar with Victorian soil conditions
- Proven skills in building and maintaining client relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong report writing ability
- Strong project management skills
- Flexibility to work either in the office, out on site or interstate
- Experience with geotechnical software packages is highly regarded
