Geotechnical Laboratory Technician

Soil Surveys Engineering are a south east Queensland based geotechnical engineering consultancy with a geotechnical, civil and acid sulfate soil testing NATA accredited laboratory located at Helensvale on the Gold Coast.

We have full time positions available for experienced field/Laboratory Technicians.

Strong considerations will be given to the following experience and/or qualifications:-

• Minimum 2 years experience working in a NATA accredited geotechnical testing laboratory
• Competent in performing basic AS1289 tests
• Hold a current Qld soil moisture density gauge user license (Preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the field using a soil moisture density gauge (Preferred)
• Hold a class C drivers license (or equivalent)
• Be able to work unsupervised
