About you
As a Gifted Education facilitator, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of student
- knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
Relevant qualifications and proven experience in classroom teaching are essential. Post-graduate qualifications in the area of Gifted Education and experience teaching in a SCS Newman Selective Gifted Education Program are highly desirable.
You will have attained:
- tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- accreditation to teach Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Sydney
- an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS
