About the opportunity

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented GIS Analyst to join our team. As a GIS Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities for improvement in Council's GIS System along with providing your expertise, advice and services to ensure that relevant spatial data are sourced, appropriately managed and accessible by key stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in GIS technology and data analysis, a degree in Information Technology, Geospatial science or relevant equivalent qualifications, as well as a solid understanding of spatial data management principles. You should be detail-oriented, analytical, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Additionally, you should have strong communication and collaboration skills, as you will be working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Remuneration:

$92,959 -$106,903 per annum plus superannuation
