We are seeking applications from suitably experienced candidates specialising in the use of Geographic Information Science (GIS) who will be responsible for performing data capture, maintenance, analysis, extraction and compilation of data to ensure the timely delivery of a range of geospatial data and mapping products and services. The incumbent will also design, produce, revise and liaise on digital maps. About
You Experience in the use of mapping (for example ESRI ArcGIS, MapInfo, QGIS, etc) and database software products. An understanding of geospatial data capture, processing, manipulation and map production. Ability to use initiative and plan and prioritise work and meet targets.
Sound written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders and the ability to convey ideas and concepts to individuals and groups. There is one permanent appointment available for an immediate start. This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy.
