About the Role
The Senior GIS Officer position manages the development and maintenance of DFES spatial data and DFES Spatial and Corporate applications. The role also manages the day to day servicing of spatial data analysis and map production requests.
Communicates with a range of departments and organisations including industry, other government agencies and community groups on spatial data issues.
Experience with any or all of the following would be advantageous.

  • Corporate Spatial Database Environments (Azure PaaS, SQL Server, ArcGIS Server).
  • Data Transformation Workflows (FME, python).
  • Spatial Viewer Technology (Geocortex, Arc Enterprise or equivalent).

Eligibility To Apply
