Due to continued business growth, EDL is in a period of exciting change and new initiatives. As a result, we are looking to appoint a Global HSE Training Specialist to play a key role in developing, implementing and improving robust HSE training and induction requirements globally.
This is a newly created position reporting to the Global HSE Training & Compliance Manager, and key deliverables include;
- Engagement with multiple internal stakeholders across EDL’s national and international business.
- Develop, review and write global company health & safety training packages.
- Facilitate and conduct face-to-face and online training programs across EDL’s international and national sites and corporate offices.
- Continuous improvement in training requirements as per international training requirements, best practice and legal compliance.
- Revamping existing Global Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and developing an internal Assessment of Competency (AOC) program.
- Engagement with external training vendors on the delivery of specialised safety training programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or similar, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Proven experience in writing, developing and implementing HSE training packages. Experience using Articulate software is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to maintain, build and grow exceptional working relationships with internal stakeholders and be a true value-add internal business partner.
- A blend of site and corporate experience within an HSE environment of high-risk activities.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with online Learning Management System software.
