Job DescriptionThe Facility Support Team Lead will be responsible for supervision and co-ordination of Eurofins insourced support staff who are conducting buffer and media preparation, as well as washing and equipment preparation services at our clients new GMP R & D facility located in Melbourne's CBD. You will work within a team of technicians to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and procedures are adhered to. Training will be provided.Reporting to our clients' R&D Facility Support Lead, the role will focus on:
- Supervision of the technicians undertaking buffer and media preparation.
- Day to day oversight of the solution preparation room, including preparation of buffer, media samples and delivery of samples.
- GMP oversight and sign off for buffer and media sample taking, in-situ testing and testing undertaken within the solution prep room.
- Stocking and re-ordering of consumables for operations.
- Completion of investigation reports, and participation in investigations in the event of issues with testing or test results.
- Day to day management of the SERVICE GROUP staff including task allocation, leave management etc.
- Maintaining compliance of GMP paper records, ensuring completion, appropriate storage and archiving
- Daily liaison with the R&D Facility Support Lead.
QualificationsAs an important role within Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing, the following selection criteria are essential for success:
- Previous GMP experience, 2 years +
- Laboratory Skills, Diploma in Microbiology or Degree qualified
- People Leadership / natural leader
