Form of workWe are seeking experienced Support Workers to work with our clients based in Pimpama and Hope Island. We are looking for people who have experience in dementia, behavioral support and experience dealing with mental health issues. The position is casual, with the option to go permanent after a 6-month review. Our client requires complex care and therefore, we are only taking Support Workers with experience for this role. Your main duties will involve:
- Providing behavioral support to the client ensuring their well-being and safety.
- Managing medication and assisting clients with emotional health support.
- Experience with Dementia.
- Assisting with domestic duties and organisation to create a comfortable and nurturing environment.
- Facilitating community access for clients, promoting their social engagement and inclusion.
- Personal Care routines.
Must be available for BOTH day shifts and sleepover shifts.
Must have or willing to obtain:
- NDIS worker screening card
- Valid First Aid & CPR
- NDIS orientation module
- Individual Support Cert or equivalent experience
- Valid Driver's License & reliable vehicle
- Manual Handling Certificate
