Role Details:
Reporting to the Supervisor: Process (Shift) at Agnew, you will be responsible for operating all sections of the Gold Room in a safe, productive and efficient manner to maximise performance and achieve production targets whilst ensuring a high level of security and surveillance and full compliance with Gold Fields Australia's Security, Environmental and OHS standards.

This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
Conduct regular inspections of the Gold Room to proactively address any adverse environmental impacts;
Demonstrate a competent level of knowledge and proficiency in running the different facets of the Gold Room as well as other areas of the Processing Plant as required, including Elution, Regeneration Kiln, Crushing, Grinding, Gravity Circuit, Leaching and Adsorption, and Reagents;
Maintain a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures and ensure that these are consistently adhered to in the operation of the processing plant;
Adhere to all principles and requirements in relation to the ICMI cyanide code, ensuring continuing compliance;
Ability to be able to work unsupervised, keep motivated and willing to accept challenges;
Assist in the effective control of production related costs by optimising the use of allocated resources, assisting with training of new Operators and providing support and assistance to other shift crews by carrying out the duties of Process Operator when required;
Promote and support continuous improvement of work practices and processes in the Gold Room;
Abiding by the requirements of the "Personal Safety and Health Commitment" and employee Duty of Care obligations and stringent security procedures;
Maintain accurate log/data sheets of gold bullion inventory at all times and ensure that gold shipments are in accordance with the agreed schedules.
About you:
Previous operating experience in a mineral processing environment, preferably Gold
Sound knowledge of process technologies and equipment including Citect control systems
Proven hands-on experience within a Gold Room operation
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems
Valid manual Driver's Licence
Computing skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases
