The Role
We are looking for a person with initiative and drive to join our Governance team.
You will be responsible for delivering a range of governance services to internal and external customers, including managing and co-ordinating all aspects of Council and Committee meetings; overseeing delegations and legislative compliance; and determining access to information requests. You will also be required to interpret legislation, policies and other regulations and recommend courses of action; implement Governance strategies, programs and frameworks; and promote ethical conduct across the organisation.
About You
The excellent use of technology, and experience in minute-taking, is essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a team committed to providing an exceptional standard of service. You must have strong organisational skills, superior communication and writing skills, including report-writing, and a keen eye for accuracy and detail. The ability to work after hours is essential.
