What You Will Be Doing
The Acute Rehabilitation Program (ARP) is a multidisciplinary service that provides early rehabilitation in an acute setting.
The Grade 2 Physiotherapist in the Acute Rehabilitation Program works with the multidisciplinary team to assist patients in regaining their function and independence and facilitate an early supported discharge home where appropriate.>
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Able to competently provide high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and patient management for rehabilitation patients in an acute setting.
• Experience in subacute and acute care settings.
• Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision of Physiotherapy staff and students with an ability to promote professional competence and foster individual staff development.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Takes an organised and methodical approach to the prioritisation of tasks.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous and innovative improvement through quality and/or research activities.
• Developing leadership skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

*Please refer to salary circular for Victorian Public Health Sector (Allied Health Professionals) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
