The Royal Melbourne Hospital Physiotherapy service is made up of over 130 staff providing services across the City Campus in Parkville and the Royal Park Campus. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Grade 2 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy service.
This position offers opportunities to gain experience working in a well supported multidisciplinary team environment with a wide variety of Musculoskeletal clients. The role involves the provision of a 7 day Physiotherapy service, supervision and education of student and junior Physiotherapists, and will be a member of our supportive team of clinicians. You will be expected to contribute to the weekend service and research portfolio within the team.
Your new role:
- Competently and independently assess, treat and manage musculosketetal physiotherapy consumers.
- Foster positive team and workplace culture as a key leader across our musculoskeletal outpatient services.
- Work collaboratively across Allied Health, Orthopaedics and other speciality medical/surgical services.
- Demonstrate a multidisciplinary health care approach that achieves desired patient outcomes.
About You:
- You are an experienced Physiotherapist in musculoskeletal patient management.
- You demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- You have experience and skills working autonomously in a health care setting, with high-level organisational and team leadership skills.
- You have a high level of computer literacy.
