Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant to join our team. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to kick-start their career in accounting. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting and financial management. The role is full-time in office. 

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
2. Perform bookkeeping tasks such as reconciling accounts and managing invoices.
3. Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance documents.
4. Analyse financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance.
5. Assist with audits and compliance reviews.
6. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client service.
7. Stay updated with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
8. Participate in training and professional development activities.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax laws is a plus.
8. Motivated to learn and grow in the accounting profession.
