This Chartered Accounting firm has been in the market for over 30 years and have a great reputation in the professional services space. They enjoy promoting their staff within the business and they gladly take on junior accountants who they can train and mould into their amazing work environment.

The Role

They are now looking to take on a graduate or an underGraduate Accountant who would like to learn external audit, tax accounting and business services in one go! Work closely with the seniors and the managers in various departments within the organisation and get exposure to both large and small clients.

Further Duties

• Support and assist with clients and prepare accounts, tax returns, FBT returns, BAS and other compliance matters
• Work with accounting programs, such as MYOB, Xero and APS
• Maintain client records and accounts
• Complete small audits and undertake audit activities in large audits
• Identify & communicate risk areas to clients
• Effectively build relationships with clients and team members

The Applicant

• A university degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Commerce) or in the process of completing
• Enrolled in or the intention to enrol in the CA qualification program
• Attitude, career focus and communication skills are important for this opportunity
• A driver’s license is essential for this position
• Full working rights in Australia (need to be able to work full time, even as an undergrad)
