WHAT A DAY LOOKS LIKE
The bus or train will be your personal chauffeur every morning with this firm based on the fringe of the CBD, and the public transport options are endless.
You can pick up your morning coffee from one of the many cafes that surround this office’s Northbridge location, before stepping into your modern workspace.
Here you will find all the latest tech, a pod style open office design with cool breakout areas (where there is always some sort of sports competition going on) and excellent client meeting rooms, with the boardroom being a standout.
You will work as part of a team with a manager who will guide you through your workload, being there to answer your questions and help you develop your skillset.
You will be trusted to do more than just individual tax returns when you start and will be involved with trusts, equities trading and all of the other fun things that actually got you interested in accounting in the first place.
When your day is done grab a drink and a bite to eat from any of the amazing restaurants and bars that are at your fingertips.
... AND THE PERKS?
Firstly, your opportunity to earn is only limited by yourself, as they take an innovative approach to how salaries are structured. This means you can quickly overtake the salary of your peers at other firms whilst doing more exciting work (yes, we did just say that...).
Their reputation is second to none, and they have a strong connection with industry-leading institutes and get to be involved in fascinating pilot programs. Ongoing training is a strong commitment of theirs also, with a yearly team conference (last year was in Bali) to learn more about tax and business. They also want their team to continue to grow their EQ and engage with a leadership coach regularly.
The Directors are standouts in their field and have been officially recognised as being so (talk about some A-grade mentors!!).
SOLD! WHAT NOW?
In order to be successful in this role you are required to have recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (end of 2023 or due to graduate mid 2024).
We are also seeking someone who is involved in their community, whether it be playing a sport, supporting a local organisation or anything else along those lines. Make sure you include this in your cover letter or resume (or both!)
Whilst we don't expect you to have experience in accounting (it is a grad role after all), we are looking for someone with a solid work history that shows commitment and loyalty.
You must include a personalised Cover Letter addressed to Lauren van de Ven telling us what makes you different to other graduates. If you do not, then you will not be considered. We are looking for the type of person that has the attention to detail required for this job!
If this sounds like the kind of environment you are looking for to build your career please click 'Apply' to submit your application.
PS: Remember that Cover Letter!
PPS: Using AI to produce your cover letter sticks out more than you think! If you do this (and we can check) then your application will be declined. We want to get to know you, not a computer.
