We are currently seeking a talented Graduate Assistant Accountant to join our finance team based in the south of Sydney. The position is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and driven individual with a solid grounding in accounting principles.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform full function of Accounts Payable
- Bank Reconciliation
- EOM tasks include balance sheet reconciliation
- Daily cash flow forecast preparation
- Preparation of branch level profit and loss report
- Assisting with year end external auditing, budgeting and forecasting
- Assisting with Accounts Receivable and Fixed Asset Management when required
- Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives
- Petty cash and other general office duties
- Ad hoc work as and when required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Diploma accounting qualification or above
- Exposure to ERA & MYOB EXO would be advantageous
- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to customers as well towards other stakeholders
- Driver Licence is preferable
