About the position:- 

They are looking for a motivated individual to join their team as a Junior Onsite Technician at their Jandakot, WA workshop, as well as performing onsite duties.

Below is an example of the salary/pay structure. 

Achievable hourly salary rate is subject to experience.

Example Jandakot;-

$32.00 Jandakot x 7.6 hours = $243.20 + super

Onsite example:-

$32.00 standard rate x hours worked (11.5) + Site allowance $130 = $498 + super

Part onsite day:-

Flying back early and 8 hours onsite = 8 x $32 = $256 + $130 allowance = $386.00 + super – AHPC pay the allowance irrespective of total hours in one day onsite.

Preferred candidates would be from a mechanical background but those from other trades / industries and background will be considered. Full training and support will be given for the successful candidate who wants to learn a trade and who in return is hard working and willing to learn and commit themselves.

Including but not limited to the below:-

• Hydraulic Tooling Inspections.
• Pneumatic Tooling Inspections.
• Support Stands Inspections.
• Heavy Lift Jack Inspections.
• Manual Torque Wrench Calibrations.
• Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Electric and Battery Torque Tool calibrations.
• Gauge and Transducer Calibrations.
• Linear Gear Calibrations.

The onsite duties include:-

• Pre-plan for site attendance (Site Inductions, Sticker printing as relevant).
• Inspect and test the above-mentioned tooling.
• Complete Shield Asset Management across all tool interactions.
• Calibration of the above-mentioned tooling.
• Interact with Pre-Start and all Customer safety and reporting while onsite.

Qualifications / Work experience:-

• Hydraulic and Pneumatic tooling experience (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manual and hydraulic schematics.
• Must hold a Western Australia C class license or greater.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
• Competent in using IT equipment suitable for reporting standards.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:-

• Test onsite equipment as per AHPC procedures.
• Complete minor repairs onsite as appointed by the Lead Onsite staff.
• Be engaged with Calibration training onsite with the Lead Technician as time permits.
• Load test, calibration across hydraulic, pneumatic equipment including measuring equipment as trained.
• Asset Management across all equipment you interact with.
• Manage cloud-based software input for all interactions and reporting across all activities.
• Perform work safely and comply with all AHPC policies and procedures.
• Liaise with our customer Warehouse and admin personnel to facilitate onsite inspections.
• Travel to/from the site as per onsite planning.
• Maintain timely completion of internal training via Complilearn.
• Maintain timely online customer training requirements as required.

• Timely onsite tool Inspections and calibration.
• Meet AHPC Customer expectations onsite across Pre-Starts & Safety.
• Tool Inspection - complete all engraving, labels, stickers and certificates as applicable.
• Timely completion of Shield Asset Checklists and reporting.
• Entering and updating assets in Shield as per the correct procedure ensuring uniformity.
• Accepting onsite training to cover AHPC’s ongoing site commitments.
• Continuous improvement attitude across all functions.
