UT Consulting is a specialist technology system designer. Our consultants design, document, and coordinate the implementation of complex technology infrastructure packages.

Notably, our team have designed the information technology, communications, or Audio Visual systems for the following major projects:

About You

You are interested in the application of technology within complex construction projects. 

The Graduate Consultant role will set you on a pathway to working on some of the largest and most high-profile projects in Australia. You will learn on the job while supporting other senior staff and project leaders. 

Your learning and progression will set you up for a future as a Technology Consultant.

Graduate Consultant Position

Graduate Consultants provide basic design and documentation support across the breadth of our technology consulting engagements. The role will see you exposed to the basics of technology system design and drafting.

Graduate Consultants are also expected to provide administrative support to management. Works will include:

1. Timesheet management and entering of project tasks into our resource management system
2. Answering and directing inbound calls
3. Greeting office visitors and couriers
4. Completion of basic administrative tasks crucial for the smooth day-to-day operation of the business
5. CAD drafting of technology systems on small to medium sized Construction projects

After suitably training, we intend for all Graduate Consultants to transition into Engineers or specialist Technology Consultants, capable of managing end-to-end technology design, documentation, and coordination.

Position Requirements

1. The Graduate Consultant role is an entry level position.
2. You must be able to work Full-Time from our North Melbourne office (10-minute walk from Flagstaff Station).
3. A preferable candidate will have tertiary qualifications which relate to technology or engineering.
4. We have dedicated drafting resource that can provide on the job training in 2D and 3D drawing. However, a preferred candidate will have drafting experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit would be favourable
5. An ideal candidate will be an effective written and verbal communicator.
