As a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our QLD Service team, you will immerse yourself in projects that change the way the industry operates, where making a big difference is part of everyday.
You will be involved in multiple projects providing electrical engineering support and project coordination across a wide range of industries, whilst being mentored by our highly experienced engineers.
You will create detailed design and documentation of projects for the manufacture or overhaul of substations, transformers, switchgear and circuit breakers. Your work is critical to the preparation of budgets and tenders, liaising with customers, as well as assisting with pre-engineering, sales follow up and participating in progress reviews. You will also be at the forefront of our products by conducting a range of specialist workshop and onsite functions including the delivery of site electrical engineering services, product training and client support.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Your willingness to gets hands on in a manufacturing environment will be complemented by the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic record
- Work experience in a manufacturing / engineering / mining industry will be highly regarded
- Ability to effectively communicate and excel within an agile team environment
- Passionate learner with a keen interest in developing their electrical engineering skills
- Self-motivated and passionate about contributing to company growth
- Ability to view problems from a big-picture perspective
