We are looking for a full-time Project Engineer - Electrical, that will assist and lead engineering decisions onsite during the construction of high voltage substations and transmission lines projects. This role will work closely with EPEC's design team, clients, and suppliers to ensure their requirements and specifications are met during the design phase and delivered successfully in relation to time, cost and quality.
This position requires:

Key Responsibilities
- Assist on-site management for project success.
- Ensure the project plan meets deadlines.
- Handle RFI and submittal process.
- Manage owner billings and project accounting.
- Coordinate with the construction manager for onsite works.
- Collaborate with the Lead Designer on design deliverables.
- Develop ITPs and work packs for electrical installations.
- Verify electrical works and sign off on completed tasks.
- Manage site-based design information and decision-making.
- Obtain construction certificates and releases.
- Update design documentation and configurations.
- Coordinate design revisions and version control.
- Assist in writing Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
- Liaise with design houses and subcontractors.
- Develop Substation SCADA and Communications solutions.
- Conduct Proof of Concept and site acceptance testing.
- Develop SCADA points list for compliance.
- Optimize SCADA and communication system designs.
- Resolve SCADA issues on projects.
- Develop project controls and provide technical advice to stakeholders.
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering acceptable for membership of Institution of Engineers Australia in the Professional Engineering.
- 1 - 3 years of experience as a project coordinator, Project Engineer, or project manager working on high voltage projects is essential
- Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the High Voltage substation and transmission lines projects is a must.

- Certification or training in project management.
- Experience in implementing quality assurance processes.
- Regulatory compliance knowledge.
