We are looking for an experienced senior hardware design engineer to be part of a newly created R&D team. Ideal candidate will have an open mind to accept new challenges. The candidate must have the right attitude to work in a small team.

Qualifications & Experience
- Job experience minimum of 6+ years in electronics design (experience in RF/Analogue design would be highly regarded)
- Proficiency in Altium Designer
- Solidworks experience would be a big plus
- Experienced user of RF Network & Spectrum Analyzer etc.
- Experience in preparing technical design documentation.
- Ability to manage project priorities and communicate effectively.
- Must be able to work independently and self-motivated.
- An understanding of the R&D project process (PLM)
- Willing to travel international to places such as India, Macau and Las Vegas
- It would also be an advantage to have: Knowledge of EMC testing and requirements. Knowledge of the unique challenges associated with RF environments/interference. Knowledge of RFID 13.56MHz Mod 2 (ISO/IEC 18000-2) and/or Mod 3 (ISO/IEC 18000-3).
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage a small engineering team
- Manage new electronics design, including enhancement of current RFID products(13.56MHz)
- 1D/3D Antenna design for new and existing products and projects
- Production Test and EMC responsibility
- PCB layout and schematics (Altium Designer)
- Produce technical documents such as "Theory of Operation”, schematics, BOM’s etc.
- Prototyping
- Liaise with Indian software development team as well as support personnel in Macau and Las Vegas
- Liaise with WDTS Product Marketing and Contract Manufacturer
- It is expected that the candidate would have a degree in electrical engineering from a reputable University or equivalent institution.
