What you'll do

  • Design of Electrical services as part of a broader team within the Built Environment: Hospitals, Education Facilities, Sporting Facilities, Commercial Mixed Use Developments and Industrial.
  • Exposure to design of electrical services: Power, lighting, fire, security and communications cabling.
  • Carry out site investigations under supervision and guidance of an experienced engineer.
  • Assist in preparing layouts, schematics, wiring diagrams using AutoCad.
  • Work on multi-disciplinary design projects liaising with Civil, Sustainability and Building Services teams.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders including architects, developers, commercial builders and local/state government bodies.

Who can apply?
To be eligible to apply, you must have completed your university degree within the last year or be in your final year of study.  

The program starts in January 2025 (we are flexible on this being sooner if you have already graduated!), and you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, or New Zealand Citizen.
