Our program begins in February each year, initially based in Hobart, Tasmania. You’ll rotate into different teams and functions, where you can build on your capabilities and create a career that’s right for you. This is a permanent, ongoing role where we will work with you to place you within the business in time for the conclusion of the program.

What you’ll do:
You will have the opportunity to rotate across various, relevant areas of our business. This may include being onsite for a major asset upgrade, being involved in the pre-commissioning and commissioning stages of a project, involved in detailed design with our consulting business Entura, or working on our strategic asset plan.
Rotate through various teams across Hydro Tasmania and Entura (our consulting business!)
Depending on your role, you’ll work at sites across Tasmania, including on site at our hydropower stations, dams and lakes.
Be part of big renewable infrastructure projects like Battery of the Nation
Take part in professional development and networking with your fellow graduates and senior colleagues.
What you’ll bring:
A recent (graduated within the last 2 years) or upcoming degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics and Renewable)
Passion, enthusiasm and a commitment to driving positive change
Willingness to learn and build effective communication and relationships inside the business
