Graduate Engineer/Junior Site Engineer

Infrastructure People are in the market for a motivated Site Engineer to join a national civil contractor.

Infrastructure People are partnering with a national civil contractor who due to a number of project wins and national expansion, are currently seeking a Graduate Engineer or, a Junior Site Engineer to join one of their projects near Rocklea, Brisbane.

Your responsibilities might include:

• Assisting with the management of planning, coordinating and controlling minor schedules/work programs, resources levels required for an assigned area
• Assisting in maintaining the contractual schedule / program, including productivity units and extension of time
• Undertaking, monitoring and reporting project tasks to deliver profit and effective cost control
• Providing daily support and technical input to the management team, contractors, and subcontractors to achieve contract obligations and tender specifications while ensuring that processes are implemented to identify, control, mitigate and report significant risks and opportunities.

To be considered for the role you will have:

• Civil Engineering Degree
• A stable career history with reputable contractors
• A commitment to safety and health for all onsite
• 12 months postgraduate experience working on civil projects
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• The ability to communicate across all levels of the business, including client interface
