You will be working on a bridge remediation project located on a mine site in Moranbah, working on a 8/6 roster flying out of Brisbane. You will need to have a background in civil/structural works.
As the Site Engineer you will be;
- Monitoring key construction requirements to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications.
- Managing work conducted on-site by subcontractors’ and suppliers.
- Implement prompt and safe corrective action on-site if required.
- Maintaining all relevant project document control and records.
- Be able to move across different disciplines when needed and as the project moves to different phases
- Interpreting, planning, coordinating and administering construction engineering activities in line with the project documentation.
- Understanding of the Construction Management Plan, Quality Management Plan. Safety Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan.
- Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project.
- Value manage and contribute to improvement of existing designs.
- Work within the project team to assist with procurement activities.
- Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning and legislative requirements.
- Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
- Assisting the Senior Project Engineer in preparing accurate monthly reports.
- Developing and monitoring KPI and productivity analysis against program and budget
- Recognised degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Construction.
- Must have TMR / Road’s experience across either Pavements, Drainage, Earthworks or Structure disciplines, ideally Earthworks initially needed.
- Proven experience working for a top Tier or Mid Tier Civil Infrastructure contractor
- Ability to work FIFO
