Site/Project Engineers

Intro Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of one of Australia's largest Tier 1 contractors who have delivered some of the most exciting infrastructure projects across Australia.

You will be working on a bridge remediation project located on a mine site in Moranbah, working on a 8/6 roster flying out of Brisbane. You will need to have a background in civil/structural works.

As the Site Engineer you will be;

• Monitoring key construction requirements to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications.
• Managing work conducted on-site by subcontractors’ and suppliers.
• Implement prompt and safe corrective action on-site if required.
• Maintaining all relevant project document control and records.
• Be able to move across different disciplines when needed and as the project moves to different phases

As the Project Engineer you will be;

• Interpreting, planning, coordinating and administering construction engineering activities in line with the project documentation.
• Understanding of the Construction Management Plan, Quality Management Plan. Safety Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan.
• Execute working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project.
• Value manage and contribute to improvement of existing designs.
• Work within the project team to assist with procurement activities.
• Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning and legislative requirements.
• Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
• Assisting the Senior Project Engineer in preparing accurate monthly reports.
• Developing and monitoring KPI and productivity analysis against program and budget

About you

• Recognised degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Construction.
• Must have TMR / Road’s experience across either Pavements, Drainage, Earthworks or Structure disciplines, ideally Earthworks initially needed.
• Proven experience working for a top Tier or Mid Tier Civil Infrastructure contractor
• Ability to work FIFO
