The Opportunity
Reditus has recognised steady organic growth in the environmental consulting, infrastructure, government and development sectors, which has created the need to grow our team. Currently the following positions are available:
- Graduate Position - Immediate - April 2024 onwards – Three positions available.

Reditus provides a strong learning foundation for technical contaminated land & Hydrogeologist professionals and encourages like-minded professionals to collaborate more easily, embrace technology and commence their career by benefiting from hands on project experience with support from our Principals and team of experienced staff members.
Day to day, you can expect to:
- Conduct contaminated land and groundwater field investigations (e.g. drilling and soil sampling, hydrogeological testing, site validation, monitoring) with varied considerations for safety, sensitive stakeholder and complex geology/ hydrogeology.
- Assist Principals and Senior Staff to coordinate projects, including budget, scope, time, stakeholder communication and client relationships.
- Oversee contractors and facilitate safe, compliant and quality field work programmes.
- Interrogate investigation data using ESdat and QGIS software, develop conceptual site models and prepare technical reports and assessments.
Key projects we’re currently involved in:
- Industrial and Aviation - geotechnical and environmental assessment, environmental management and compliance, boundary containment system operation and maintenance, contamination management and operations environmental services.
- Remediation – site assessment, groundwater monitoring and reporting; and groundwater remediation system operation and maintenance.
- Numerous Rail Projects – client-side environmental site assessment services for the construction phase of the projects.
- Government - Local and state-based government agencies, focusing on environmental monitoring and strategic advice.
- Property Development – environmental services spanning acquisition due-diligence, environmental assessment for development, pre-development remediation and construction support to numerous clients.
Typical projects include environmental due diligence, portfolio assessment and advisory, preliminary and detailed site investigations informing risk assessments and development of mitigation strategies, environmental monitoring, remediation planning and implementation.
What Reditus would like to see from you
The successful candidate is a team player and brings the following:
- A degree qualification and interest in Hydrogeology, contaminated land or remediation projects, with relevant knowledge in geology/soils, hydrogeology and environmental chemistry, as well as soil logging, site investigation and soil/groundwater sampling methods
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management and technical reporting skills
- Formal qualifications in environmental science, chemistry, biology, geology or engineering
- Previous consulting experience will be favourable, but is not a requirement
- Unrestricted drivers licence
- Ability to start in April 2024.
- Ability to work with site contractors including drillers, surveyors etc. and a willingness to travel and work on regional sites occasionally.
