Exciting .Net development and product delivery role. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn and grow within the Defence asset management industry while developing next generation software systems. You will be working directly with a small, integrated development team. There is plenty of room to use your problem solving skills to and put your own stamp on the product.
Working within a team environment and under supervision, the Software Engineer will complete engineering activities in accordance with the relevant project procedures and work instructions.
- Front and back-end development including new features and bug fixes
- Assisting with Software Development tasks
- Database development and support
- Assisting with data analysis / analytics engineering
- Work closely with other Software Developers, Engineers, Product to develop high-quality products and systems
The Person:
- Computer Science/Engineering related bachelors [Essential]
- Software development and scripting (preferred C#, javascript, VB.Net) [Essential]
- Relational database development and support using SQL [Essential]
- API development, ASP.Net [Desirable]
- CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation [Desirable]
- Understanding of Scrum / Agile software development framework and being involved in the software lifecycle [Desirable]
- Experience with Visual Studio [Desirable]
