The Role
Duties
This role involves both independent work and collaboration within a team environment to deliver timely, high-quality results that aligns with team and organisational goals. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Support for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with streamlining processes.
- Support and assist the Payroll team
- Responding to internal and external queries
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers
- Assist in preparation of financial statements.
- Accounting qualification.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and associated practices.
- Experience in MS Office, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Use of confidentiality and discretion with information and data
- Self-motivated with a high attention to detail.
- Able to manage time effectively, using strong organisational skills.
- Capable of accurate, detailed work.
- Desire to work cooperatively in a team environment to achieve goals.
